CAST BIOGRAPHIES

Justin Sellick
Edward, Prince of Wales
Justin last appeared for ImpAct in ‘The York Realist’ in 2008
and was part of the successful ‘Tearoom’ team that took
Tanya Alexander’s production to the Edinburgh Fringe in
2011. When asked how he felt about taking on the role of
Edward, Prince of Wales, Justin replied: “In the world of
theatre, opportunities to be cast in a fresh, new production
are slim. Few get such a break and a chance to give a part
their all. Having recently played Rooster Byron in Jez
Butterworth’s ‘Jerusalem’ and having met the real Rooster,
Mickey Doo, I relish the prospect of exploring the role of
Edward, another real person with his own flaws and foibles.
I feel an obaliation to him; his strengths, his weaknesses, his passion, his ght against the Establishment.
There is much in him to admire and much to detest, but I can relate to him because he
was a true man who, despite his faults, was able to love. Love with all his heart.”
